A big Tadoo...

Well it’s been almost a week since I last posted, so I thought it was time to update this thing..

As you saw in my last post ‘Busy Bee’ I was getting ready for my first ever Navy Ball, well let me tell you when it rains it pours. So on Friday I was getting all the last minute things ready (my jewelry, clutch, etc.) when I found out the girl who was suppose to do my hair and make-up couldn’t do it because something came up for her and the time she told me a few weeks ago wasn’t going to work. Needless to say, I ended up having to do it myself and I was NOT happy about it. It was a big tadoo..

Anyways, Saturday came and it was time for the ball.. I got ready pretty early because I had no idea what I was going to do with myself. I was so mad that I had to do this all myself it made me not want to go at all. Yes, yes, yes I know that sounds kinda dumb, but I was pissed as I’m sure you all would be. Regardless, I knew that I had to go for my husband because he was NOT going WITHOUT me. Haha.

Well we both got ready and went, it was pretty much what I expected it to be. Very traditional. The speakers were nice, kinda dull like a school assembly. I seen some pretty nice dresses there; I’m glad that I ordered mine online since there were a few repeats but that’s too be expected in a small place like this where there are hardly any dress shops; then I saw some scary dresses, some people need to learn that ‘formal to semi-formal’ does not mean your coochy needs to almost hang out for the world to see. Stay Classy. So gross! We left pretty early but I didn’t want to drive home super late from a town I had only been once before during the day.

I would suggest that you go to a ball at least once, it’s so nice to see all the men in their dress uniforms and such. We had a good time with our friends and it was nice seeing everyone before people start going to their new bases.

OH OH OH!!! I almost forgot, we got the town house. So excited!! We get the keys tomorrow and start moving in on Wednesday… wish us luck that my husband and I wont kill eachother because we almost did yesterday. Conclusion = Moving is STRESSFUL.
